EXCLUSIVE: Emraan Hashmi recalls taking wife Parveen Shahani for street food dates in Bandra; says, “Pocket money was also limited, that’s what I’d afford”

Actor Emraan Hashmi who was called the serial kisser of Bollywood becomes the first guest in the new series, ‘Brunch With Bubble’. During the 2000s, Emraan left everyone lovestruck with his hit romantic songs which are still being remembered and cherished. He is probably the only actor who has maximum hit songs under his name. As Emraan Hashmi graces the new series on Bollywood Bubble, he discusses his food plan, diet, food memories and more. Among them, he even revealed the first date that he took his then-girlfriend and now wife Parveen Shahani. BTW, it’s not as fancy as you can imagine.

Emraan Hashmi recalls his first date with Parveen Shahani

When asked about the time when he took her out for a fancy dinner date for the first time. He told us, “Back then, we didn’t have much money, so we used to be over here in Bandstand. I took her to Camp Juice Centre at Bandstand. It was like a major hangout spot. And back then Bandstand was very different. There weren’t so many joints there, like street vendors. We were both in different colleges in town. So outside the Oberoi Hotel, there used to be those carts on the road selling pani puri and bhel puri and all that. That’s what I could afford. There weren’t too many fine dining places at that time, and pocket money was also limited. I don’t know how she felt about it, but she seemed pretty fine and ended up marrying me. So I guess I must have done something right.” His date hideouts with wife are too cute and very relatable, right?
